Fortrose

Dolphins & seals can be seen from the beach

Fortrose is a small town on the Moray Firth approximately 13 miles away from Inverness, just 20 minutes by car. It has a small harbour and is a delightful place through which to wander, particularly the dignified remains of the cathedral. There are lovely walks along the cliff-side paths leading to the shore and harbour. Fortrose cathedral dates from the 13th century.
